Social Programme

The social programme for IFBLS 2021 is part of the preliminary program and includes the famous "Rådhuspandekager" / Town Hall Pancakes at Copenhagen City Hall and conference dinner at the National Museum - and much more.

For touring Copenhagen you should take a look at the homepage of Visit Copenhagen.

Copenhagen provides a vibrant and exciting backdrop to the IFBLS 2021 meeting. It is an ideal congress city, known to be a safe, eco-friendly and cosy capital city. It has extensive green areas and has just been named best city in the world for swimming.

The distance from the congress venue, Bella Center Copenhagen, to the city centre is only a few minutes away by metro.

With a history that dates back to 1043 Copenhagen is full of historic landmarks, significant buildings and interesting sights. After an intense day at the conference you can take the opportunity to get further inspired by award winning new Nordic cuisine, the impressive mixture of historic and contemporary Danish design and architecture. Be sure to visit Amalienborg Palace – home to the royal family, do a guided canal tour on the harbour, take a swim in the habour baths, or walk down the shopping street Strøget.

Also not to be missed is the famous and amazing Tivoli amusement park and, off course, the Little Mermaid.

Copenhagen airport is easily accessible from all major European cities. The metro, which is located just above the terminal, will take the participants from to central Copenhagen in just 13 minutes. Copenhagen offers a broad range of possible venues for social events.
